Farm Truck

Our family has long enjoyed visiting local farms year round. In the Fall, the scents of the harvest drift through the air, the razed fields, the falling leaves. Then, at a local car show, I spotted an old farm truck, which helped fulfill the inspiration for this painting. The owner was happy to show us the operation of the dump bed (which our son absolutely loved). I could easily imagine the autumn harvest filling its bed.
